New series on AIAMO in the German magazine Straßenverkehrstechnik: How AI is shaping the mobility management of the future

How can artificial intelligence (AI) help to manage traffic more efficiently, reduce emissions and make mobility more sustainable?

Our new series on AIAMO in the journal Straßenverkehrstechnik provides answers to these questions. Together with experts from our project partners, we will be presenting current technologies, innovative applications and research findings relating to AI in mobility management in interviews, scientific publications and specialist articles in the upcoming issues of the magazine and reporting on our experiences in the project.

We start with an interview with Markus Wartha, President of ITS Germany e. V., and Christian Roszak, Vice President of the association. They show how AIAMO, as a research project, links the latest developments in AI with practical solutions - from smart traffic control and sustainable intermodal and multimodal mobility concepts to the development of innovative solutions and their use in practice.
