AIAMO in the magazine Zeitung für kommunale Wirtschaft (ZfK): AI makes you mobile - intelligent mobility management
The current print edition (August 2025) of the Zeitung für kommunale Wirtschaft (ZfK) focuses on the opportunities and potential that artificial intelligence (AI) offers for municipal mobility management - and the AIAMO project serves as an illustrative example of the practical use of AI in cities and municipalities.
The article shows how digital twins, adaptive traffic light control or AI-based forecasts can achieve real improvements in traffic flow and air quality. Municipal managers from the AIAMO pilot regions Leipzig and Landau provide specific insights into the benefits and challenges of AI-supported mobility management.
