3rd #AIAMOcamp
In February, we reached key milestones together with our project partners at the third AIAMOcamp. We can look back on two successful days at our project partner, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), in Berlin! In exciting presentations and workshops, we were able to drive forward project development in order to play a key role in shaping the mobility of the future. The event was characterised by great diversity - in addition to our consortium, we were also able to welcome external experts, including Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Mauerer from the OTH Regensburg, Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics. Their input and perspectives made the camp a particularly enriching experience.
One year after our first AIAMOcamp, we can now look back on a successful continuation of this series of events. Together with our project partners and external experts, we reflected on the first two AIAMOcamps, as well as past successes and the future internal and external presentation of AIAMO. We focussed in particular on both the user's perspective and the technical viewpoint.
Exciting impulses came from our project partners highQ and SWARCO, who presented innovative visions for the mobility of the future. They showed how we can shape the mobility of tomorrow - with technologies that are still under development today but could shape people's everyday lives tomorrow.
The live demonstration of our integration zone was a particular highlight. Equally impressive were the presentations of the progress and successes from our pilot regions of Leipzig and Landau in der Pfalz, which we are particularly pleased to have taken part in AIAMO.
Another highlight was the presentation by AI expert Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Mauerer from OTH Regensburg, who fascinated us with his talk on ‘Mobility with AI, quantum computing and 6G’. His presentation not only provided us with valuable insights into ground-breaking technologies, but also concrete ideas on how these can be integrated into the practical design of mobility systems.
All in all, we can look back on two extremely productive days that have greatly advanced AIAMO. We are already looking forward to our fourth AIAMOcamp in the summer - another highlight on the road to sustainable mobility!
