#AIAMO at Data Week Leipzig 2024: Innovation meets reality
From 15 to 19 April, the networking and exchange event ‘Data Week Leipzig’ took place, which not only presented the latest developments in the field of data science, but also showed innovative solutions for real challenges.
The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) represented the AIAMO team at the conference. Timo Houben and Thomas Trabert had the opportunity to present our project to a broad audience and discuss it with leading experts from various fields.
The Data Week provided a platform for intensive discussions and a fruitful exchange on the role of data and AI in shaping our future. From keynotes by renowned experts to interactive workshops, there were numerous opportunities to find out about the latest trends and challenges.
Our AIAMO project was presented in a session on the topic of ‘What-if in the city ... happens’. The focus here was on the establishment of a digital twin for environmentally sensitive traffic management - a topic that is not only of academic interest, but can have a direct impact on the quality of life in cities and municipalities.
We would like to thank our project partner, the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), for presenting our project. The regenerative dialogue and constructive discussions helped us to gain new perspectives and drive our work forward.
Data Week Leipzig 2024 was not only an opportunity for us to present our work, but also a source of inspiration and motivation for the labour-intensive period ahead. We look forward to incorporating the knowledge gained into our work and presenting AIAMO at further events.
